#### Anyone approved for a Home Care Package before 12 September 2024,  is considered a grandfathered participant in the new Support At Home scheme.

The good news is that your funding level and support will remain largely the same even when the new Support At Home system begins on 1 November 2025. At this item, you will be automatically transitioned to to the new scheme.

However, certain aspects of the new Support At Home Scheme may impact you, such as the availability of extra funding for assistive technology and restorative care, and some of your existing services might be reclassified.
