Understanding the cost of home care under Support at Home
All-inclusive pricing & less upfront fees under Support at Home – adding up to more hours of service for most people!
About Support at Home fees & charges
Care management fees capped at 10%
Support At Home introduces a cap on care management fees, which will be no higher than 10% of your total quarterly funding package.
What it covers: Care management fees pay for your provider to set up your care plan, help with your budget, coordinate your services and oversee reviews in case your funding requirements & needs change.
No package management fee
The biggest savings under Support at Home is the removal of package management fees, which were previously as much as 15% of your funding package.
What's new: Under Support at Home, clients will no longer have to pay this charge, freeing up more funding for direct care services. Instead, any admin & compliance costs will only be charged on services you use, under the new all-inclusive hourly service costs.
All inclusive hourly rates
All providers must now include all fees & charges into the hourly cost of delivering care on their pricelists.
What it covers: Your fees cover service delivery as well as admin & government regulatory compliance. This user-pays system means you’ll only pay for invoice claims & admin on the services you use.

Support worker wages
At Age Up, we pay our support workers under the industry SCHADS Award, ensuring our team are paid fairly for the wonderful work they do each day in the community.
Business support, insurance & PPE
Our quality assurance, financial and privacy & security protocols meet the highest standards, and our team and clients are protected to ensure service excellence, and peace of mind for all.
Superannuation & benefits
All staff are provided appropriate levels of annual, personal & sick leave and we meet our obligations to contribute to their superanuations funds.
Travel time & mileage
We pay our team for the travel time required to reach a client service our clients, and cover mileage costs to ensure they are appopriately reimbursed on costs associated with travel.
Training, meetings & breaks
We invest in the quality of service through training & upskilling programs, and enable our team to attend relevant meetings to improve team connection and client servicing. Break times are a given!
