The government's Home Care Package scheme provides funding to help anyone aged 65+, or 50+ from an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander background, needing both a little or a lot of extra help at home.
And you don't have to wait until things get to breaking point.
Home Care Packages start at $10k per year for those on Level 1 needing just a little extra support, and increase to approximately $60k per year for those on Level 4 with more advanced care needs.
