Care Companion

Employment Rate: $30 - $39.99 per hour

Employment Type: Casual/Vacation

Location: Melbourne South East and Peninsula, VIC

Job Type: Community Services & Development, Aged & Disability Support

About the Role:

We are looking for people who are experienced in providing companionship, domestic care and personal support for our clients in their homes. You will be their go-to person for all their domestic and personal assistance needs.

We require that you to be flexible and able to carry out different responsibilities as required - some days providing personal care, other days helping in the garden or kitchen or driving our clients to social events or appointments.

You will also work with a small group of clients in order to build meaningful relationships and make an impact in their lives.

Skill and Experience required for this role:

  • Highly driven to make a positive impact in people's lives.
  • Must be compassionate, friendly and patient.
  • Have obtained or be in the process of obtaining a relevant qualification in aged care or personal support.
  • Must be comfortable working with clients in a personal care role including duties such as showering and assisting with dressing
  • Must maintain absolute respect and dignity of the client while performing duties.
  • A car and license is extremely advantageous.
